This issue explores the notion of individuality, identity, and selfhood. Our ideas of self have been challenged in recent years with technological advances such as human cloning, just as the lens of the camera altered our representations of selfhood early in the century. In this issue, we explore how the self is created, represented, and challenged by art and science.
